Adam J. Gersten is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on criminal defense and civil litigation. He has been admitted to practice in all Florida courts.
Previously, Mr. Gersten served as an Assistant State Attorney in the 16th Judicial Circuit of Florida, located in Key West. During his three years of public service, he was responsible for managing hundreds of cases. Gersten joined the Key West office after working in Miami at the Office of the State Attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit, in the Gang Strike Force as a certified legal intern. He also served as a judicial intern for Third District Court of Appeal Judge Alan R. Schwartz.
Mr. Gersten is a graduate of the University of Florida and St. Thomas University School of Law. He excelled in his courses during law school, earning top honors in Real Estate Development and Finance, Contracts and Real Property. A fourth generation Miami attorney, he gives back to his community by serving on the board of Reef Relief, an organization dedicated to preserving and protecting living coral reef ecosystems. He also supports LegalArt, an organization that supports the art community by providing reduced cost and pro bono legal assistance to artists, and maintains a record label, Needless Records.
